Summer LeagueThe 3rd annual Summer League begins on Tuesday 28 October 2008. Registrations are open now. This social outdoor competition is a great way to learn or improve your game. Mixed teams of eight players play round-robin games each Tuesday evening. Previous winners:
Our thanks to HydroFlow for their continuing support of our Summer League
and Junior Korball. Junior KorfballRKC Junior Korfball starts agains on Tuesday 28 October. Junior Korfball for primary and intermediate aged children runs in conjunction with the RKC Summer League. These after school sessions are run by experienced korfball coaches and provide skills, games and fun for boys and girls of all abilities. Both new and experienced players are welcome. Kedzlie. TrainingDue to lack of availability of a suitable venue, weekly training is on hold until further notice. The Committee is currently investigating other training venues and will keep you posted. Coaches/RefereesRKC members include several accredited referees and coaches who are available to assist new players to get started in the game or help existing players/teams upskill. Referee courses are free. RKC is always on the lookout for anyone interested in becoming a korfball coach or referee and courses are available through Korfball New Zealand. Representative PlayersRiccarton Korfball Club is proud to have many Canterbury and New Zealand Senior and Under 23 representative players among its members.
