Coaches and Referees

 

 

RKC members include several accredited referees and coaches who are available to assist new players to get started in the game or help existing players/teams upskill.

RKC is always on the lookout for anyone interested in becoming a korfball coach or referee and courses are available through Korfball New Zealand or Korfball Canterbury.

Referees Course

Korfball Canterbury is running referees courses for anyone who is interested. The course will be ideal for those who want to:

• Learn the rules of Korfball
• Become a qualified referee
• Re-new their referees certification.
• Refresh their rule knowledge and
• Pick up the latest changes to the IKF rules of Korfball.

The next three session course will be held on the following days:

Tuesday 30th September 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Tuesday 7th October 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Wednesday 15th October 6:30pm to 9:30pm

The course will be held in the Seminar room, at the Fendalton Community Centre (170 Clyde Road).
